Do you mean the audio is in Spanish? Unless you used stream processing then all of the audio channels should be present in the ripped vobs. Which language you get in your encode depends on which channel you pick while frameserving. If your using dvd2avi then in the audio section pick a different stream until you find the English one.

On some dvds certain parts of the movie, usually the credits, are stored multiple times as angles, one for each language. If you are seeing Spanish credits, for example, then you either ripped the wrong angle or multiple angles. Try re-ripping the dvd and if there are multiple angles then try just selecting the first one.

  4. The language of the country the DVD comes from is usually track 1 in DVD2AVI, for me in UK is English. So if is Spanish DVD then choose diff track from 1.

Or do stream processing in Smartripper to rip English ( or what u want ) from dvd to ac3 then convert that to wav.

  5. ok ill try those things, but this doesnt happen with dvd2avi, it happens right after i rip the dvd, after i rip the dvd i always play them in my windoes media player to make sure everything went ok, and when i do it with some videos, it is ripped in spanish, however i ripped another movie last night and everything went good so i think its just certain dvds.

  8. Rigo,
Maybe your DVD disk only has 2 audio tracks(English,French). Most of
the DVD's I own only come in those languages.
