  1. Hi all, I am trying to convert audio channel from mono to stereo using mediacoder in command prompt...Anyone send me the parameter for converting that?
    I had tried below command but does not convert to stereo

    Most any audio tool should be able to do it. I use Goldwave (not free). Audacity can likely do it as well. Just note that the result won't actually be stereo. It will simply be mono on both channels, not quite the same as a true stereo track.

    "Converting mono to stereo" is a non sequitur it can't be done. The correct English term is double mono or 2 track mono. Stereo means picking up the same source of audio with 2 electrically separate microphones that can then detect phase and amplitude differences much like our 2 ears thereby giving location and other acoustic cues. A mono source simply doesn't have the information contained within it's signal.

    There are a number of schemes available to broaden the sound but it will never be 'stereo'
