    This is a reel for a video coming next. The system that was used for the sound was: Audio Technica Pro 88W VHF Wireless System with Battery-Powered system. The link to that is here:

    I connected the wireless system with DSLR : Canon 650D with the hope of getting uni-directional sound. I did get the uni-directional sound but didn't get good sound amplification. Any suggestions to get the sound right?

    you need to set the gain in the camera so that the mic levels peak just below 0db. i use magic lantern firmware in my canon so that i can have the levels display on-screen and adjust the levels on the fly while recording video.

  3. How about if I use Canon's EOS utility to check the sound levels. But how do I change the gain ? Is it by going to sound recording, the choosing manual to get the record level and then increase the record level? Is that the way? or using magic lantern?
