But you included audio from the movie (later in the video) so they may still have detected the audio. Try again without any audio from the movie.

no. you have to submit the video in a new filename too. i used to upload videos too, many times i would resubmit the same video, reencoded but would be rejected. when i renamed it, it was accepted.

They do detect the video fingerprint apart from the audio. Not all videos get detected but mostly the popular ones or those from big entertainment houses' seems to get detected nowadays. Youtube had developed special softwares I guess. So, even if you cut the scenes, morph them or whatever you do to make it different, the copyright info remains there.

For the notes --- the excerpt that I tried to share via YouTube months ago was a 7-minute clip from a nearly-3-hour BBC documentary. Which makes me wonder how many tons of HDD space and how many tons of processing power El YouTubo has to dedicate exclusively to the "copyright protection INDUSTRY"

This shows how they check new uploads. However it seems material that was uploaded before the new content ID system is not scanned as there are tons of full videos and full albums on youtube. I'm guessing those will only be removed if reported.

Some of my vids get flagged for matching third party content but rarely get deleted. Luckily the band I concentrate on has been in legal limbo for decades(only a few "hits" are closely watched) and the solo artist I also concentrate on is relatively unknown outside of his home country.
