I have a friend who is new to video editing, and relatively new to the internet. "What exactly is a troll?" - he asked - "I've seen so many apparently different answers to that ".....

I told him to read this thread. This, I informed him, is a what a premiere league troll can achieve......

I've searched on google but all the pictures show different layers in different buildings in a bluray and do not know what the is truth

Alright!!!! Which one of you guys derailed this thread? It's over 100 posts so I can't go back to see who did it. It would take too long.

It's supposed to be about scratches and DVD+R. I came looking for more answers and lo and behold its switched to Blu-ray layers. Its not fair that subject deserves its own thread !!!!

Was read on the structure and fabrication of a Bluray disc and read it so that only has a polycarbonate layer on the top side of the disc, but in the underside of the disc underneath the layer has some protection to prevent scratches and damage data reading the disc? I'm talking about any bluray disc from any manufacturer
