Hi,
I am trying to move a video file of 1.2GB from PrEl 11 to MPEG Clipstream but the latter is not letting me do it and not giving me a reason why. It flashes up an error message but no details.
The material is shot in HD 1080 50 i on a Sony EX1 and I have edited it in PrEl 11 at what I think are the right settings.
My next step is to compress it through MPEG CLipstream but cannot get it to accept the video file.
I have saved the file and rendered it - is that enough ?
It is the first one I have tried and have no one to ask what to do !
Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I guess you mean mpeg streamclip?
I would try another free converter like handbrake, vidcoder, video to video converter, etc. -
Maybe.
It's unclear what you are using MPEG Streamclip for that cannot be done directly out of PE11.
More specifics about your output settings and your ultimate goal (YouTube?, DVD?, Theatrical Release?) would be helpful. -
I am trying to compress it so I can send it via ftp with the final goal being HD tv broadcast.
The error message from MPEG Streamclip (!) says it cannot find video or audio files so I think I have done something wrong at the very beginning.
Which output settings do you mean ? I am a novice at this ....
Thanks -
At this point are you sending out a screener? Neither Premiere Elements nor MPEGStreamclip can produce a broadcast ready master.
Ask your broadcaster for their tech sheet.
