UM Player - video and audio controls don't work

I have been using UM-Player for a couple years now on my old laptop Win XP with very few issues.
I recently got a new laptop.... Lenovo V570 i5processor, Intel On-board video, Realtech on-board audio.Win 7 Ultimate.


On the new laptop I don't seem to be able to use the video or audio controls. for adjusting color or sound quality.
The control panel will come up but the adjustments do not effect the video.


I've tried reinstalling the program a few times but that didn't solve the issue.


Any suggestions?????

Have you tried run in it compatibility mode winxp? Try right click on the umplayer shortcut, choose properties and change the compatibility settings.

Or else try a more up to date player like potplayer, mpchc, kmplayer.
