ADVC units have dip switches that need to be set correctly for your region and source material. It may be you have incorrectly set the dip switches.
Has it always done this? It also could be many things including a defective unit or misconfigured playback software / speaker settings.
ADVC units have been a very popular DV capturing device especially on this forum. They don't have an audio pitch defect, so it would have to be something unique to your system or unit. -
No it hassent but i did play with the switches that could be it im in canada what switch do i need to flip?

Make sure it is set for NTSC (#6 set to OFF)
IRE should be 7.5 (#5 set to ON) -- but this would not affect audio pitch
Audio Mode should be 48 kHz 16 bit (#3 set to OFF)
Locked Audio Mode (#4) is usually set to LOCKED, but you could see if UNLOCKED fixes the pitch. But I don't think that would be the cause of the problem.
