  1. I have a Samsung phone that I have successfully uploaded mp4 and 3gp movie files to it but am out of memory.

The book that came with the phone says to add a 32 GB microSD card.

What is the difference between an SD card and an SDHC card?

Which one do I want? (to play mp4 and 3gp movie files)

The "HC" is high capacity (up to 32GB). Many modern devices accept SDHC - look for the logo on your product to see if it will be compatible.

    Some information here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secure_Digital

  3. There is a cover on the slot of the phone that has "microSD". There is no where on the phone or in the book that has "SDHC".

If the book says it will accept a 32GB card, that suggests it is SDHC compatible.

    Capacities from Wikipedia:
SDSC (SD): 1 MB to 2 GB, some 4 GB available.
SDHC: 4 GB to 32 GB
SDXC: ≥32 GB to 2 TB

  5. Yes, I too seen the Wiki information that states 4 - 32 GB is (by default) an SDHC card.

Okay, now what is "class" all about? I have seen class 4, 10, and 12.

EDIT: never mind, class is explained in the Wiki article too
