  1. Why the ripped videos from DVD to CD Quality files have noise and are so grainy? What should i do to fix it?

  3. My downloaded ripped movies from a commercial DVD converted down to of about 400 mb per 37 minutes are always with noise while the DVD is very clean.

    And HOW do you convert? Software, settings, video and audio codecs.

    Try different converters like vidcoder.



    (I assume you are ripping your dvds...or else go buy your dvds instead of downloading crap)

    Doesn't look like it to me. I think he's downloading reencoded DVDs and then reencoding them yet again, this time to XviD AVIs, to make them smaller. My suggestion is not to reencode them at all.
