  1. When i'm playing a series with dual audio its in japanese i selected the audio track choosing english but it doesn't stay the same when next episode plays i've tried preferences audio and entering en and english nothing happened how do i select english? so vlc can play the next episodes in english i tried english, en and eng when i click on audio tracks track 2 is for english it plays in english but when switching to the next episode it changes back to japanese

    I guess it depends on the video container and if it has any audio track properties. So vlc can identify correct audio track.

    So give us MORE information about your video! Use for example mediainfo.

  3. here is one of the videos i need for it to stay on english when next episodes play another video i have of a different show i have no problem with it the video is english even when next episode plays

  4. This video does not have a language tag to select. That's the reason why it does not work with your setting.
    There is another way to keep audio track by selecting its track number of the stream.

    Load them into mkvtoolnix ... click to highlight desired default audio ... down below set option to "default track yes" and "forced track yes" ... do this for all problematic mkv's

    Audio language is nice to have especially if changing format but is not required or cause such playback faults.

  6. thanks how do i save the files into its own folder when i select default audio tracker it adds the english file into the same folder the japanese show is in
