    When i connect my new laptop with a hdmi cable to my tv to watch movies (I use vlc player) the tv from times to times goes blue for a minute or 2 this happens every time, anyone knows whatsup?

    HDMI interface burp. Check your cable. Check the integrity of your connections. If it were a software issue, you would likely get a video freeze. Blue screen on a TV usually indicates a loss --or brief interruption -- of signal.
