  1. Hello everyone!
As I did not find any appropriate section for video troubleshooting, i am writing here.
Anyways, so i took a video when i went on vacation, i turned the recoring on, then i let it record for like 5 mins but i didnt pay attention to it. Maybe something got pressed, i dont know, but later on, the video wasnt showing up on the sd card when using the camera. I pluged the SD card in my pc n the video is there. It doesnt play at all though. I tried converting it with pazera free mov to avi converter i believe but it says moov atom is missing. When i play it with gom player it says my system lacks the codec. Here is a log from Gom player if that helps:

    Code:

Try first play with vlc media player. Then mpeg streamclip.

If they fail try video repair tool. Try the free trial and see if it can repair anything.

upload it to a filesharing site and post a link if you'd like people here to take a shot at it.

  7. Kk but it is quite big so it might take me some time to upload since my internet connection isn't too fast. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

You could upload a few MB from it. Try use makesample and upload 10-50MB.

  10. Just on a lark, because I know it has a good demuxer, I tried using MMG to remux the video to an MKV file. It worked! I got a ~4 minute MKV video. The last third or so has a black picture (audio continues) but I think that's because the camera was put in the back of a car with no view. So download MkvToolnix, install it, then run MMG.EXE. Open the MOV file then press Start Muxing. Once you have the MKV file you can remux back to MOV with some MOV muxing tool, if necessary.

I extracted the elementary audio and video streams from the MKV with MkvExtractGUI. Then used Mp4Muxer to mux those into an MP4 file. Be sure to set the frame rate to 29.97 as Mp4Muxer will default to 25 fps.
