I just noticed a folder created in the root of my c-drive called "archive_db" inside that folder is a file (without extension but appears to be text) called arcdir.
I am on windows Xp, and from the limited info Google offers it seems to not be connected to any program I have on my pc. It was first created yesterday at 8:30 pm
Does anyone know what this is?
The only newer program on my pc that I was running is an offline web ripper called Httrack, but I found no documentation connecting the two. Other than that I have no idea. I can delete the folder without issue but I would really like to know what created it.

I did a quick Google and the program that quotes both folder and file appears to be related to Paragon Drive Back Ups.

Thanks. It seems I do have the paragon drive backup but it was last used in 2009 on my pc (this is when they were giving it away for free (allowed to install it only once and that is it) if you followed a certain link that was valid for only a few hours, post came from these forums).
The only thing I can think of is that right above it in my programs list is orbit downloader, which I did use the other week. It might be possible I hit the drive back up program first and when I saw something odd running I shut it down quick.
ok, no worries then, thanks!!
