Hi there,
my fairly new ,hardly used Lowry DVD player gives out no sound(for DVD or CD)and only gives red colour definition on DVD.Can anyone offer advise,please!!

Not enough information to go on. There's some chance it's simply configured and/or connected incorrectly, but it could also be defective. I'd take it back for a refund or an exchange. If you do an exchange and have the same problems, then the odds are that you're doing something wrong with it.
