DeskTop for the heavy (real) work.....
Laptop, Netbook, Tablet and smartphone for web surfing............Got my retirement plans all set. Looks like I only have to work another 5 years after I die........ -
3 desktops and smartphone.....I wanna build a new faster desktop pc but can't justify the need for it.
Add to the poll have all three or desktop and smartphone.... -
desktop, tablet, semi-smartphone - camera - vga quality and tmobile web portals, but it can text.
I clicked notebook but really shouldn't have. Its an ANCIENT pentium 2 laptop that is gathering dust somewhere.
I have a no name tablet I bought at Kmart last Thanksgiving (the sales stuff) and of course a ouya I got earlier this year - a hybrid if you will, not really a game console, not really a tablet, not really a computer.
And I have two active desktops and one in storage. A vista dual core from about 5 or six years ago and a single core xp thats older than that.
I know as long as I fool around with backing up video I'll never go totally mobile. Though I do have a wifi enabled printer so I technically could since I have a wifi n router and game consoles and a bluray player that can do a bunch of streaming stuff.Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw? -
I have a desktop. I don't have a laptop, smartphone or tablet yet.

Desktop and dumb phone, recently complemented by a discounted Surface RT. I can't see myself going fully mobile since I use resource-intensive things like compilers and simulators, not to mention the occasional game, that are best on a high-powered desktop.
-
Desktop, smartphone, laptop. Several of each except the smartphone.
-
Desktop, Laptop & a Netbook for trips. The Netbook has Microsoft Streets & Trips with GPS. My wife is the Navigator.
-
all three, pc for all my video edits, games etc, smart phone for out & about, laptop for when im away.
but i could not live without my pc. i would happily get rid of my smart phone & laptop. -
I have a desktop for major video editing and a souped up laptop for secondary video editing.
-
Primarily laptop these days with occasional desktop use. My wife has a tablet, but mostly only uses it as an ereader and game machine.

Desktop is my workhorse and catch-all computer. Laptop is my recreational and secondary computer. Smartphone is my 'mobile office.' And, Tablet is my game playing and ugh, it's 2am and I can't sleep so I might as well surf the net and read golden age comic books device.

May the force be with you. -
Mostly on my desktop, with the tablet replacing an older laptop as the "coffee table machine".
I have two laptops and a netbook that I rarely use. -
Two desktops, an old laptop that just needs a new LCD cable and a netbook with puppy linux and boot from an SDHC card. I use the netbook mostly as a video player for long trips.
-
desktop and laptop (netbook get its daily use at work) and still using landline as base telephone. don't use it but its there.
-
Desktop because it's fast, has a screen larger than 10 inches and is useful for everything except gps, tablet for ereader, simple games and portability. dumb phone for calls/text message.
-
So the desktop is dead, eh
For the nth time, with the possible exception of certain Intel processors, I don't have/ever owned anything whose name starts with "i". -
Main desktop = laptop if needed.
But day to day mobile = iPad.
It came in very handy earlier this year, when I was mostly bed-ridden,Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)
