video with moving object that has tracer.

Hi I have tried ever terminology I can think of with no results.
Would like to know how to create a video that is alot like a burst camera shots but as the
Moving object goes its route, lets say a bowler rolling a ball down the lane. And as the ball
rolls you see A tracer like effect behind the ball but never disappears like its a burst camera but t
he ball as it rolls leaves it previous shot behind it.sorry if I dont explain corectly. Wbat is this type of video
called and can I creat one of a motocross bike jumping in air

I bet there's a way with avisynth as well -- some sort of fading recursive loop.

You sure that's exactly what you want ? A still image composed of multiple shots ? Or did you mean a video ?

If you want this in a video, it's much easier to do if you prepare shoot it properly - this means a locked down shot on a tripod. Because you probably only want multiple images of the bike stunt, not multiple images of the background, ramp etc, as the camera moves around. smrpix answered your question - after effects is typically used for this sort of thing

I would like to learn both. but a video that starts with no image and as the jump is carried out you get snap shoots that don't leave the picture
as if it was adding the biker every .25 sec and not losing every .25 snapshoot

and yes just a capture of the biker not back round.
Is this very intensive to learn for a someone that is pretty savy with any aspect of a pc wither networking, hacking androids
i used to use photoshop alot with halo 2 modding. thinks its learnable for me.
