Hi,
I didn't tknow which section to post this in...
Is there a guide on this site as to how to back up a DVD that i brought in a shop?
Is it possible, (I have a Panasonic DVD-R-A03 and some Blank DVD-Rs)
Also is there anyway of changing the region when I back it up (eg, I have a UK PAL Playstation 2 (region 2) but if the DVD is region 1)
Many Thanks

use smartripper to rip it to your harddrive
then burn it back with nero or the prog of your choice
as smart ripper removes any copy protection i dont know if it removes region info and makes it region free it might as i said i am not sure but if i find out i'll tell you.
i have backed up a few dvd that i own that were a bit scratched all i did was run them through smart ripper to remove protection, now they work as good as originals in my standalone dvd player my pc and my ps2
