I have a friend that is trying to use a large (65") flat panel TV to display 3 separate video feeds with each video playing in a separate window on the TV. He would like to be able to split the TV just like one of those surveillance camera monitors that shows multiple videos one one display with each camera's output being displayed in its own separate window.

    1. Window #1 would show a video via and HDMI input
    2. Window #2 would show a separate video feed of a live camera.
    3. Window #3 would show an Excel spread sheet from a PC output
Whenever I get a request to provide work on something video related, I always think of the forums here at videohelp.com as the place where one of the experts can steer me in the right direction. I hope that someone can understand what I'm trying to do. I told me friend to just buy 2 more 65" TV's and each TV could be dedicated for its own video. He may have to go that route but in the meanwhile, he wants to find out how to display all three sources on one TV. Any help or advice will be appreciated. Thanks in advance, VC

We looked into this and although this product looks solid, it's more expensive ($29K) than we can afford and appears to be for professional video production.

Do you or any one else know of a less expensive alternative?

We did an old fashioned Google search and found the following:

4-Channel HDMI DVI VGA Component Video Split-Screen PIP Video Mixer Processor

Is anyone familiar with above listed device?

    Thanks in advance, VC
