I am trying to record video to the Canon XA20 using a Sennheiser e100 (with EK 100 G3 Camera Mountable Receiver and
SK 100 G3 Bodypack Transmitter) for the audio, bypassing the built-in mic. I am plugging the transmitter into the XLR port (channel 1), but only get mono.
How can I get this setup to record in stereo? Am I missing a setting on the camera?
Thank you!

You have an excellent mono mic and transmitter. They will never give you stereo. There may be a switch on that camera to record the channel 1 signal to 1 and 2. But it will never be stereo.

Thank you so muh for the reply! That makes sense. I am new to all of this and still learning the basics.
However, I have recorded in stereo with the Sennheiser set previously using the Zoom H4N. Maybe I will just record the audio separately this time and try to figure it out for my next shoot. There has to be a better solution for using this mic with the camera. -
Try this link

Helped me solve my MIC problem.
