    i just took 3 photos with my jvc cam that uses mini dv taps i wanted to know how to save the photos to my computer ??

    i use dvapp to save the video but i have never taken pics with this cam so i have no clue how to save them

    Dv doesn't record photo, just video. So if your cam has that feature, it surely is not saving it to tape. Most likely its saved onto a smartcard. Pop the card out and put in your pc, copy the files, done!

    there is no card slot on the camera that i can see

    the cam i own is this one

  5. It's not really a still file, just a glorified freeze frame on video. Import with firewire as normal.
