just need some clarification on xvid4psp batch processing. are individual video settings the same as the moment they get added to the queue or the same as the current setting that's on the xvid4psp screen?

say I choose 1 setting, open folder for 1st batch, then change to another setting, then open another folder for the 2nd batch, will 1st batch and 2nd batch have different settings?

is it possible to use resize filders in xvid4psp? I can't seem to find any thing like "resize" or "lanczos"

btw, in the processing dialog, one line caught my attention: xvid4psp was using virtualdubmod.exe for muxing videos, wtf?

  2. I don't use xvid4psp so I can't answer any of those questions, but an encoder GUI has to use something to mux the video and audio into an output file. Some programs use VirtualDubMod for AVI, some use AVI-Mux GUI.... there may be other options, I'm not sure, but it's common for programs to use established tools to do the work rather than re-invent the wheel. StaxRip (I'm pretty sure) still uses VirtualDubMod. I'd have to check (I don't have it installed) but it may even use VirtualDubMod to do some of the encoding. AutoGK does.
