It turns out that the problem is that I disabled B-pyramid?

  3. If you do not want to have references which point to the future (in display order) then you have to disable b-frames,...

    Всем привет!
In x264 present OpenCL mode - allows us to expect rapid implementation of the GPU support for x265?

To the best of my memory, and unless things have changed recently,
the OpenCL option in x264 hasn't been impressively-useful or helpful
So I presume the MCW team will keep ignoring it for a very-long time , possibly forever

I was not really gone; just saw the demand of current builds well covered, while waiting for a notable change.

  21. Anyone tested the impact of '--[no-]fast-intra' on the output quality/size?

  23. No time and since I was interested I thought I ask if someone tested the new option and your answer doesn't really help.

Probably best not to presume anything on topics that you're not informed on. Definitely best not to speak for others. Although much of the work we do on x265 is checked in to the public repository immediately, other work is done in private repos until it's ready.

And hopefully YOU will have learned something from the notorious errors in the not-so-distant past of the X265 project.

P.S.: It's very obvious that the intention of your post was NOT give a better answer to Gravitator's question.

Why DivX Player refuses to play x265 video files.... The reason for the lack of agreement on a standard decoders of HEVC participants?

Every HEVC encoder should create bitstreams that comply with the HEVC specification. To test this, decode the bitstream with the reference decoder (or analyze it with an HEVC analyzer). If the HM decoder can decode the bitstream, it is probably compliant with the specification. If another decoder cannot, it is probably not compliant with the specification.
