As far as I know, MPCHC only supports using analog capture and analog tuners. I have used Pot Player for ATSC digital TV tuners. I do not know if Pot Player works for DVB-T, since DVB-T is not used in the USA. Pot Player can capture the ATSC stream, but I would use use NextPVR or other PVR software instead.

I have used MPCHC for analog tuners and analog capture, and it works for devices that use software for encoding. If I try to use MPCHC with a digital tuner here, all I get is an error message, something like "can't connect to tuner." Real PVR software doesn't have any problems with the same digital tuners. Since I can't help you other than to suggest other programs that are known to work well for recording DTV, I'll wish you luck.
