Going from .webm to .mp4

I need software to convert .webm files to .mp4. I don't want it to re-encode. I just want them to convert over. Will freemake video converter do the trick, or is there a quicker, better way? Thank you!

WebM uses VP8 video or VP9 video and Vorbis audio.
mp4 uses h.264 video or mpeg4 video and aac audio or mp3 audio.
Therefore you'll have to re-encode for the other container.

I don't think you can put the vp8/vp9 video(.webm contains vp8 video) in a mp4 container so you must reconvert to mp4 with for example h264 video. You can use freemake video converter for that.

Freemake (I'm using 4.0.2.17) does handle .webm format.

webm does not necessary imply VP9.
The only decoders I know of which atm. can handle vp9 are:
a. vpxdec
b. Google Chrome
If Freemake can handle VP9 it would be interesting to know which decoder it is using.

It appears VP9 wont work with FreemakeVC.
It did detect it as 512x288 16:9 93kbps 25fps (as did media info).

Shame. No doubt support will be added in the future.
