after converting from avi 2 mpeg1 with TMPGEnc 12h, the vcd is a bit blocky especially when there is a fight/car chase scene ie when things r moving fast. sorry if this is a bit unclear.

it's the nature of compression. when you use less bits to represent the same stream, you'll get lower quality.

so what can i do to improve it besides putting it on the highest quality setting in tmpgenc (as it takes too long). so how do i adjust this bit setting in TMPGENC ?
