Reference frames 4 or less for 1080p video. Max consecutive Bframes 3. b-pyramid 1 (strict). That's assuming the TV has the same limitations as Blu-ray. Which may not be the case.

You will have fewer issues. There are no standalone players that support every feature of h.264.
