how to download a group of png images ?

hi, there's a website that has a lot of png images. i'd like to download them. i was thinking i only want to d/l a short segment of about 300 images or so since my connection speed is DSL.

so, for example, i would like to download these:

file.00001 through file.00300
and
file.15000 through file.15300

Use a download manager like flashget, orbit, etc....

They have a wildcard "*" range you can enter from a to b

i'm looking for something really small and simple, and take a url, and the first/last string link, and give me an option to include a range if the string links have numbers.

and it would parse the url string links and images and download the actual images to my hdd as

beach.0005.png
beach.0006.png
beach.0007.png
beach.0008.png
beach.0009.png
beach.0010.png

otherwise, i may have to code something up myself, which i don't want to do.

That's what they do. It's very simple

e.g. for flashget you would have 4 place holder digits (because it's 0001.png) and enter start =5 , end=10 for beach.0005.png to beach.0010.png

It's basically the same in all download managers
