  1. I have a title that I'm trying to convert to dvd with multiavchd, the titles original track is in 192 mp2, the original source is not great sounding so I have a second source in 320 AC3. When I try and create a DVD the end result is that I have the original mp2 (with a really odd delay on it) and no AC3 track , can anyone please tell me what I am doing wrong here.

It amazes me that so many people think they can just stick another audio from another source "in there - on there" and think it's going to line up perfectly.

  3. hech54, my apologies I should have stated, the external source is matched up with the original using audacity, exact same length, just from a better quality source, using convertxtodvd the audio tracks matched up perfectly but the video quality was poor, I used multiavchd as the quality of the end file was greater than that of convertxtodvd, however when i go to create the dvd my second audio source disappears and does not get muxed.

Have you tried to remove the old audio track? So that only the new AC3 track is visible?
You can also try other muxers/demuxers. What you're trying to do is normally a kid's game.

  5. Nobuddy, thanks for your helpful reply, yes i tried to remove the old track but then i ended up with no audio at all, in the end i just gave up on multiavchd and used tmpegenc, all is sorted now, thankyou

TsMuxer will remux the original video (uncheck the audio) and add the new audio track and save as a M2TS file. Use that file for multiavchd.
