mp4 to mpg help needed..

hi..

i am trying to convert mp4 file to mpg or avi format..
and have tried many converters.
but the results is the same,
the video turns out fine but no sound at all..

anyone can help??

ffmpeg.exe -i inputfile -q:v 0 -q:a 0 outputfile.mpg

will create a mpeg-1 file with mpeg-1 layer 2 audio

What converters? Try for example xmedia recode, winff, tencoder or the above ffmpeg sample.

Post also the details from your mp4. Use mediainfo, open mp4, view->text.
