    Thanks for updating my KB, guys

    I seldom create FLV files, and also I never have used the "official" FLV tools.

    Come on, I am NOT that uninformed

    Or have you ever thought that a conservative guy like me can also be a WebM fanboy?
    No, never, jamais

    don't really like webm atm. :
    a. it only supports VP8 and ogg vorbis (+ experimental VP9 and opus)
    b. no subtitles (at least I haven't seen any srt/ass -> WebVTT converter)
    c. aside from mkvtoolnix no real tool for 'editing'
    -> even more restricted than mp4, naturally far less powerful than mkv
    (wondering if vfr works fine with webm, when played back with flash player)

    Come on, I am NOT that uninformed
    but your good at hiding that fact

  6. According to unofficially sourced underground news, Multicoreware is giving-out SandyBridge, Hanswell, AMD Bulldozer PC and MS VS2010+SP1 for free to the interested volunteers who can invest their valuable time and efforts. I do not wanna take chances with current system setup capable of doing what I want - the way I want. Plus, I am not on MS-OS, I am way out. Somehow link for free give-away still not posted yet. Are you guys still interested to try free give-away and compile by yourselves.

  7. I would definitely seek support from you guys, I have pulled out old IBM-PC-AT, IBM Firtst Generation Serial Printer and a copy of Wordstar4 installed on it, left by my Grand-Grand-Pa as an antique to enhance or modify the standard SDHEVC - Super Duper HEVC that he could not finish due to lack of technology.

    When I opened his diary and read SDHEVC - Super Duper HEVC, his goal was to achieve compression ratio better than 90% with true 16k UUHD - Ultra Ultra High Definition with 24 bit true color depth. I am complete froze while calculating minimum system requirements even in nice summer evening, may be my Grand-Grand-Grand-Grand-Son will be able to calculate. I hope at least I can type or modify his standard on IBM-PC AT with worstar4.

    At least here I am, the first one to launch the concept of SDHEVC - Super Duper HEVC with compression ratio better than 90% with true 16k UUHD - Ultra Ultra High Definition with 24 bit true color depth.

    I will definitely need you guys. We will encode in such a way that none can decode.
    Am I missing something?

    Who told you that I am kidding?
    I am too serious for SDHEVC - Super Duper HEVC to full-fill my Grand-Grand-Paś dream.
    Are you serious to help me?

    Not what you would like to read, and I don't know if this is helpful to you, but the first tab in the Properties window for the Monogram FLV Muxer has some fields which indicate the encode progress...

    Code:
    Video stream:

    Audio stream:

    Duration:

    Avg. datarate:

    File size:

    yes, i knew that, but its not "catch"able. i tried several different ways. the hdc is berried under another hard-to-read control. anyway. i was eluding to something similar. and, anyone can do this. so i thought i'd share it, being its not so obvious.

    ok, we all know and use mediainfo. well, fortunately for us, with this directshow hevc it allows the recording output data to be opened in shared mode. if you drag the i.e., video.flv file into mediainfo, you can see the duration as it encodes.

    thus, a person savy enough could rig something up to
    1. open the "source" video i.e., video.avs file
    2. utilize mediainfo to open/read for just the duration (or framenumber)
    3. take that info and plug it into another utility that only shows a preview of a given video i.e., video.avs
    4. using the info, show just the current or last frame processed.

    i was thinking of giving it a shot.

    1) Man, you really should rename this thread to "How to Use Graphstudio" or something

    2) The graph below is what finally worked for me, therefore YMMV

    3) This filter chain works with madVR too I have no idea of why it DOESN'T work with VMR7, VMR9 or EVR

    just for the notes, i couldnt make things work with evr or vmr's either ( using this infinite pin ), but i came up with this graph and it's working fine for me with evr or vmrs:
    which really is good enough for now if you ask me

    @ vhelp: now that you know how to mux audio with an HEVC stream,

    what about updating the sample files in the first post

    Or now you think it wouldn't be worth the effort?

    Trepack, thanks for the clip Actually, until some minutes ago, I was messing around with an OUTDATED release of GPAC's MP4Box, and only after reading your post, I realized I was doing it all wrong (again)

    Anyway, now I have the most recent "nightly" MP4Box, and after remuxing a test video, I could play it in Graphstudio with the help from Strongene MPEG-4 Demultiplexor (mp4demux.dll)

    For the FLVs created with the Lentoid encoder: MPC-HC, PotPlayer, WMP ; splitter = the modified (HEVC-capable) FLVsplitter.ax ; Lentoid HEVC decoder ;

    For the AVIs and MKVs: MPC-HC, AV Splitter / LAV Splitter + Lentoid decoder ;

    For the MP4s : MPC-HC, Strongene MP4 Splitter + Lentoid decoder ;

    For the TSs: only the Osmo4 player so far, I suppose

    Thank you my friend. Its works perfectly.

    the only downside, only work for me if change in Win7DSFilterTweaker, on MPC-HC player its fail.

    still nothing works for me with audio, only video works. even muxing audio into video later doesn't work. i blame it on my very low system specs of mine.

    also, it seems there are very few testers out here, not very many users giving feedback on these h265 encoders. i must be due to the convoluting steps of prep work. a framerserver of some sort would remove that problem.

    Perhaps Graphstudio can help you. Open one of those files in MPC-HC, pause, then goto GS ans press "Control + G", and tell us what you see
    For viewing the graphs used by WMP, first you'll have to register the DLL FilterGraphSpy.

    Well, we are testing pre-alpha software, and not many people want to feel like guinea pigs, I guess.

    For me audio+video is ok on my PC (I5+ Windows 7). I tested on my netbook (Celeron 1.2ghz) too. All works.

    Windows 8 + Klite Pack.
