  1. Hi all,

I'm renting a dedicated Debian server.
Just got a new mobile phone and I really like to listen to my favorite online radio's (total of 3).
Now the idea is to relay those streams with lower quality (24kbps) and listen it with my mobile phone (android).
The reason why i would like to make the online radio stream with lower quality, is because I'm having just 4GB of internet on my mobile phone and at 128kbps it goes pretty fast.

    TIA

It doesn't look like Restream will work on Debian 7?

Restream just automatically links to restream....ignore that application. You should just use vlc.

Ok, any guides how to set up VLC on Debian 7 with say 3 inputs at 128kbps and 3 outputs at 24kbps?
