Hi all,
I'm renting a dedicated Debian server.
Just got a new mobile phone and I really like to listen to my favorite online radio's (total of 3).
Now the idea is to relay those streams with lower quality (24kbps) and listen it with my mobile phone (android).
The reason why i would like to make the online radio stream with lower quality, is because I'm having just 4GB of internet on my mobile phone and at 128kbps it goes pretty fast.
TIA

vlc should be able to restream it. See for example http://www.videolan.org/doc/videolan-howto/en/ch09.html or search in http://forum.videolan.org/viewforum.php?f=4
