Hey guys.
I've been told that one way to import MP4 files in Movie Maker (not the live version) without converting them to WMV would be to install ffdshow/K-Lite Codec Pack Mega. So I've done this and I was able to play MP4 files on any video players in my computer ffdshow video/audio decoder and Haali media splitter. However, when trying to import MP4 files in Movie Maker, the video is black-screened and only the audio was available. Also, only ffdshow audio decoder and Haali media splitter showed on the tray icon, not the video decoder. I've went to check the video filters in WMM and clearly the video decoder was checked...so I have no clue why ffdshow video decoder isn't working on WMM, which prevents me from properly importing MP4 files.
Any helps please? Thank you.
