    Hello one and all,
I have a short video with sound. It is a *.r m file.

    I want to burn this *.r m file onto a blu-ray BD-R. What program/software does this?

I have Nero 9.0 but it doesn't seem to burn Blu-rays .........only CDs and DVDs. I tried Imgburn but
    it doesn't recognize a *.r m file.

    Thanks for reading this.

real media is not a valid video format for blu-ray, only VC-1, H.264 or mpeg-2. you will have to re-encode.

ImgBurn will burn any type of file onto a blank blu ray disc as data, as long as it is small enough to fit the target disc. Use Build mode.

If you intend for this to be a blu ray video, then you're in a world of hurt. You'll need to convert to a format that is acceptable for blu ray video. I don't know if MultiAVCHD will accept .rm files as input or not, but it might be able to do the conversion for you, and output as blu ray video format.

    Take a look at:

Therefore, you would have to convert your .RM file to Blu-Ray~compatible video and audio.
And considering most .RM files do not have great quality, I serious doubt they would be worth converting to Blu-Ray.

Yes, latest versions of Nero can record to Blu-Ray discs.
Converting RM to Blu-Ray video+audio is an entirely-different story though.
