Hi,
I have a DVD and i've entered VIDEO_TS folder, to copy one VOB file, related with 1 of the 2 videos that are in the menu.
The strange thing is that i find 4 VOB files related only with the 1st video (and with different sizes...) and none of the VOB files are related with the 2nd video...
STRANGE....
Where can i find the 2nd video?
Thanks!

The second video does not have it's own VOB?
The second video is a chapter within another VOB?
The DVD is copy protected?
The possibilities are many. -
Not quite sure if I understand you.
Are you saying that you can only see files vts_01_1 to vts_01_4 whereas you expected to see vts_01 files and vts_02 files ?
DVDs do not follow that convention. It depends on how they are authored. I hve made a dvd with over 30 small videos and all are in vts_01.
To get at the second video you must rip the dvd - you can not simply copy a vob. The ripping program will reveal the contents of the dvd and you will be able to select what you want to save. -
Maybe it's because he's not making any sense.
You can also open it in programs such as VobBlanker or PGCEdit and look around for the 'missing' title. VobBlanker can even extract it from the DVD for you (once it's been decrypted to the hard drive).
mqdias, you say there are two titles listed in the menu. When you play the DVD, you can access that second video? You can play it and all? If so then you know it has to be in that VIDEO_TS somewhere.Last edited by manono; 29th Jun 2013 at 15:36.

Thanks for the reply!
Yes i can play that video without errors...strange...
I will try to use those softwares and i will give here the feedback. -
You are not reading the replies. There is NOTHING strange going on here.
I doubt that you will get your head around either VobBlanker or PGCEdit and as my friend states you do need to decrypt the dvd first so just use a standard ripping tool. -
How about PGCDemux? Any easier? That's another way to extract the 'missing' title as a VOB.
While PGCEdit has a learning curve, my feeling is that VobBlanker is pretty easy and intuitive, even for first-timers. Plus, there are a ton of guides for its use. Ones such as this one:
http://www.dvdr-digest.com/articles/article_vobblanker_page1.html
While the guide is mainly about removing stuff from a DVD, it also explains how to find things in the first place. -
Well I wold not regard myself as a first-timer but would never regard VobBlanker as intuitive. Remember we are dealing here with someone who can not even answer the rather basic question I set in my first reply.
PGCDemux may be an easier option but I can read the follow up post right now.
