when i start smartripper,up at top says drive cant acess asapi ,can I change that somehow?

do you have the aspi layer installed, in windows 200 and xp there is no aspi layer installed, if you do not ( and probally don't ) have the aspi layer, go to www.adaptec.com and get the aspi layer v4.7, it will install without the need for any adaptec product that needs to be present ( unlike the older version of aspi32.exe ) and best of all it free.

Yes its installed,thats why idont understand when smart ripper fires up says cant acess asapi for this drive,I enabled dma.
