I have a Sony a35. I have the volume turned up as high as possible for video but it plays back very low and you can hardly hear it. Any suggetions to improve the volume would be appreciated.

Googling Sony A35 shows a camera.
So, faulty microphone recording the sound? Or can you increase the sensitivity?
What are you playing back the video on? -
Hi Mike. Thanks.
Just playing it back on the camera but have to put it up to my ear in a quiet spot to hear. Volume is turned right up on the settings. ???????
Thanks again -
Quite possibly the sound is recorded at too low a volume. What's the volume like when the file is viewed on a computer or via the TV?
If it's still quiet then it probably due to a too low recording level.
