It is very difficult to check if this has been asked before.

I know that if a DVD player is marked Dolby or DTS it will mixdown 5.1 to stereo. But with a cheap DVD player, what happens if the disk has only a 5.1 audio track?

There are people who have these, especially when the player is donkeys years old.

Downmixing from 5.1 (or less) to 2.0 is mandatory for the hardware DVD players, especially for the cheapo models which have only 2 analog audio outputs and zero digital audio outputs, so the problem should be regarded as "non-existant".

So far I did not had any problem with Dolby 5.1 since the day DVD player was born.

Nope, Never before. But, now I started thinking I should have one before visiting this forum. Or, can we try it together? Just for having some FuN, nothing else!

Visually there is a little difference of "e", grammatically a lot.
Never knew it before, in VideoHelp forum, I have to teach someone English Grammar too!
