    Hi.

Is there any database or site or forum we can find REAL RIPPED BLURAY SUBTITLES and not translated or by earing subtitles to a lot of movies?
Into pgs format and a program that can convert pgs subtitles files into simple greek srt subtitles.

Rip the subs from your own blu-ray and use subtitle edit to convert and translate to greek.

Nope, there's no site for pgs subs, they are all srt which saves a lot of bandwith, just look for greek srt which can be changed to pgs.

You don't understand why i want pgs subtitles.

Because the most of srt greek subtitles i find it loose a lot of parts of the movie or it doesn't translate very nice like the GENUINE bluray pgs subtitles so......

And you don't understand that I'm just stating a fact, pgs subs are better to have but subtitle sites are not going to supply pgs subs when srt subs are around 140KB for an average movie and pgs subs are around 6-20 MB and multiply that by a few thousand.Saves a ton of bandwidth for them.

Import blu-ray sup,It will ask to use tesseract, click ok and begin ocr,if it comes to a word it does not recognize it will give you an option to add to dictionary if it is correct,if the word is misspelled then you can correct the word(s) and click on change all,it will continue translating the pgs to text till it gets to another word it doesn't recognize.

If it keeps asking for word corrections all the time then your pgs is hard to ocr, when this happens i run the pgs through BDSup2Sub and choose to output as idx/sub where i change the resolution and color to something easier for subtitle edit to read.

As said: You should install Tesseract together with a greek dictionary in Subtitle Edit (SE). The dictionary can be installed from within SE. In case of an installer version of SE you put the Tesseract file here:

    %appdata%\subtitle edit\Tesseract\tessdata

and for the portable version here:

    \Tesseract\tessdata

I have installed the greek dictionary and STILL do the same thing.

IT DOESN'T convert automatically the sup into srt. It asked me every line to MANUALLY fix the line so....

  18. Now you really look like these so called "translators" that made you search solution at first place.
There is no free lunch, you can get something without hard labor only in movies you watch.

fits79 i understand you! (Ειμαι πατριωτης σου και) i have the same problem. The .srt translated subs are pathetic in some level. For me (I have built a private Cinema with an 128" screen and all HD sound and picture) is necessary to have the most perfect-fix greek subs for my films. So i want too, to download the pgs subs. So far i find in a few movies srt english subs from pgs original english, and i translate them ONE BY ONE for god sake in greek! Also, because i LOVE the 3D technology i put them in some scenes right or left if there are any important object in the center of the screen. Just like cinema subs. If you want any of my subs, i have for the : AVATAR Extended Cut 1920x1080p DTS-HD MA , GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY IMAX EDITION 1920x1080p DTS-HD MA and STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS 1920x1080p DTS-HD MA. I can send them to you!
