  1. I know the answer is around here somewhere, can't seem to find it on site, so here goes....Have the TMPGEnc, did a capture with MMC 7.6 at MPEG2 (480x480) even tried the MMC Reg Tool to set up a standard SVCD template. Capture is not a problem. Now the problem is trying to open in TMPGEnc (any version) Have all the Plug-Ins, VFPI's, MPEG2 Codec, looked at the Priority setting the the options, when I open I get the following

    Not Support, Can't Open File

Running WIN98 in one system and WIN2000 Pro in the other, same results. So what am I missing?

    You need a frameserver
DVD2AVI is the best for this job.
You can find it on the links section.
Also, look at the guides: How to convert mpeg 2 to XXXXX

  3. I can open them fine in the latest bersion of Tmpgenc.
My priorities for the vfapi plugins are as follows:
    Directshow is 4
    AVI VFW is 3
Mpeg2 Video plugin is 3 listed below AVI VFW
    AVI2 is 0
Let me know if this helps. I just installed 7.6 for my AIW 128 Fury pro. Seems ok, but vid looks a bit blurry to me. Got to keep playing with it.
