Save video from avidemux into lossless?

I got a video loaded into avidemux, how can I encode it into one of my lossless codecs (like lags) so I can edit it in vdub?

The output options only seems to let me choose the container.

AviDemux only uses its internal codecs. Use huffyuv or ffv1.

I think I already have those codecs installed (first one standalone, second ffdshow). I still cant edit FLV.

You don't need to have them "installed" they are built into AviDemux. Just set Video Output to whichever codec you want.

As jagabo said, avidemux only uses its own internal codecs. That's not a bug, it's a feature.

What do you mean you can't edit flv? If you can load it you should be able to edit it.

or open the flv in vdub to edit (ffinputdriver , directshow import plugin, or avs script)

ok, looks like I finally found something that works here...

1# Load the FLV in avidemux
2# Encode using huffyuv (not ffv1)
3# Load in vdub (not vdub mod)

poisondeathray: I tried loading flv directly in vdub without any luck. Counting yesterday, I tried three seperate times, each time wasting about 1 hour, trying many misc things and installing misc codecs. Its always been the only format I havent been able to edit.

AviDemux can edit and save lossles without reencoding.
This is not mentioned here and has to be corrected so all people do know about it :
