But do they actually sell both versions separately or are both included in the 'box'
Well, as you probably know already after my last posts I went for the 64-bit version which worked just fine. Not sure how these two versions are sold but in the download list where I picked the version I could chose which one I wanted to download. I actaully downloaded both of them but installed the 64-bit version and I think if you buy the product both the 32-bit and 64-bit version will be included but that is only me guessing...

Haven't got that much RAM in my PC (8 GB) but still it's nice to have a 64-bit version when your OS is 64-bit and you have more than 3 GB RAM. Not sure how 64 vs 32-bit affects the performance looking at the other components in your computer like the CPU and GPU. I do have a petty fast CPU (Intel Core i7 2700K running at 4.8 GHz) and a pretty fast graphics card as well (GTX 680) so maybe these components benefit from a 64-bit version too. Looking at the comparison chart for the Movie Studio products the platinum version has support for what they call GPU-accelerated effects for example.

I may be wrong here but if you download software then the price you see is the final price.

Purchasing a box version is a differnent ball game. Firstly you would need to find a supplier who would ship to Sweden. Again, the price you see if the price you pay to that supplier but when the item arrives in your country it could be liable to input vat. Surely, Sweden is a member of the E.E.C. Purchase the box from another member state UK or Germany eg Amazon (not Ebay) as two examples and no input vat appiles.

Yeah, 900 MB for a 10 min video clip is pretty much and especially when it's not even a real movie but only computer generated graphics but considering this final 900 MB clip includes views from 3 original FRAPS clips at approx 20 GB each I guess I can't complain.

Will try tomorrow and see if I can have the H.264 codec show up in the list in Vegas because now when doing this test and I was to pick the codec I noticed it wasn't in the list.

As for the 10 min clip I noticed you don't have to download the complete clip unless you watch all of it of course because when you click on the link WMP will buffer just the part of the clip you're currently watching so for anyone interested don't be afraid to click the link

Will have to look more into this but if I decide to buy the software I'll probably go for the download version saving me some $ and won't do much with the box anyway other than hiding it in some drawer where it will collect dust...
