Tranfer images to DVD

I would like to purchase a program to enable me to trasfer images of holidays and family from PC onto recordable DVD to pass on to friends and relations. I have used Windows Movie maker but have had problems when burning to blank DVD. I would like a program that will allow me to use different transitions and effects from one image to another such as fade, star burst or sweep, etc. and add music, titles and credits. I am new to this type of work but hope I have made it clear as what I am looking for.

I did down load Slideshow GUI as recommended and ran into all sorts of problems so have now uninstalled it. However, I do thank all those who have shown interest. Agslad

Look into Picasa3 from google as both a photo organizing software and a quick way to make slideshows in various formats.

I have used photodex proshow tools before for creating slide shows with music, effects, etc.
