I've been using TMPGEnc to convert some of my download AVI files into MPG and then eventually burning them into VCD's(NTSC). Currently I'm using Nero 5.572 to create the mpg's into VCD's(NTSC). I've been noticing that the VCD's, on playback, are either cut off at the top and bottom or cut off on the sides depending on the AVI files that I convert. I've read up and down the forums to see what the problem could be to fix the problem and I've some of the suggestions like changing the aspect ratios. I still can't convert it properly. I've gone and download FitVCD, but I'm not sure how to use FitVCD with TMPEnc. One thing that I did notice is the size of my source. Maybe someone could tell what to set in terms of the aspect ratio. to fit onto my NTSC TV. I alread know it's 4:3, from the reading the posts on the forums.
Here are info on the sources:
480x360
512x384
640x480
Let me know what I should modify in the TMPGenc to get these to fit on my TV(NTSC). Thanks :D
