Hi everyone,
from my sony pdw-f800 pal camera I have some problem with nle (in sync blade 2.2): installing the mainconcept directshow filter (in windows xp) I can import directly to the timeline the .mxf file (only the video part) but if I have big files (e.g. 2 or 3 o 10 or 15GB) the importing process is extremly slow.
This is strange because if I import a .avi file of 25GB encodec in Matrox M-Jpeg SD, the importing time is 1-2 seconds. When I try to import a .mxf file of 10GB it may necessary 20-30 minutes.
The same problem I have if I try import .mxf files in Virtualdub or anothers: seems Virtualdub try to "seek" the entire file, I don't know what it have to do, the CPU is very busy and for a file .mxf of 10 GB is necessary also 20-30 minutes to the virtualdub or avisinth.
If I try to open a file .avi Matrox Mjpeg (SD) encoded of 25GB, virtualdub need of 1-2 second to load it.
So why the system is so slow to load/open this .mxf hd files?
An example is this:

I have to upload this file in my dropbox: (www.dropbox.com logon into it with this credential: user: mrocchini@email.it password is: centrale forlder: "public")
I would like to achieve this:
1) convert a .mxf file (e.g. c0020.mxf) so I achieve the same file but without audio (video only)
2) convert a .mxf file (e.g. c0020.mxf) so I achieve the same file but only with audio PCM 48Khz CH1 and CH2 as a normal interlive .avi file that have audio left and right. So NO timecode, and no extra information.
3) convert the video part of the C0020.mxf file so I achieve a C0020.AVI in matrox mjpeg codec (is possible?)
4) convert the C0020.mxf so I achieve audioC0020.WAV that contain only the CH1+CH2 audio (PCM 48Khz)
Does anyone know I can do this^?
thanks!!
