    1. We don't know what model your receiver is.
    2. Why do you think you are able to play random files back on it?

I suspect that 2 gig size is set by the OS within the receiver. There will be an index file to control the playback of a file which is longer than 19 minutes.

I hardly think there is ANY software available to replicate that as you still will not be able to write to the index.

  7. On your place i would give a chance to obe-vod which should produce correct trp (ts) files - it is a cmd type tool - so it can be difficult for you to start.

At a start perhaps you can use command line such as:

    Code:
    obe-vod --profile high --level 4.0 --preset ultrafast --tune fastdecode -I 12 -i 1 --bframes 0 --fake-interlaced --crf 1 --vbv-maxrate 8000 --vbv-bufsize 4000 --overscan "show" --colorprim "bt709" --transfer "bt709" --colormatrix "bt709" --nal-hrd "fakecbr" --pic-struct --bluray-compat --thread-input --sps-id 1 --aud --force-cfr --ts-muxrate 20000000 --ts-cbr --ts-dvb-au -o %1_uf_fd_.ts %1
this one is quite crude (was used for me to test particular things) but as obe-vod is a fork of the x264, probably plenty of guys from this forum can help you to tune good quality.

    good luck

    obe-vod can be downloaded from:
