Hello, while iv done a lot of video encoding in the past (way into the past, like, 2006) i haven't done any since. I know most of my way around things, but i still consider myself a bit of a noob to this, so any help, is greatly appreciated. Ill keep the long story short....

Basically, converting some OLD HD DVD's to save me going through boxes upon boxes to get the film i am in the mood to watch, read up some old tutorials and most of which consisted of makemkv, ripbot, xmediarecode, and etc. XMediaRecode, while converted everything, gave some video problems (weird, stuttering kinda of video, not really noticeable to many, but i saw it, and was irritating as hell) so adjusted the settings, to no avail.

Then read up about RipBot, gave it a try, video quality is perfect....but that's all that is. Upon completion of the encode, not only was the audio/video out of sync, the Video was almost kind of sped up, definitely going faster then normal anyway.

The source is the HD DVD itself, using makemkv converted it to a playable state (perfectly fine audio/video). Below i will list the input settings:

    Video Input: VC-1 1080p
    Profile: [High 4.0] DEFAULT, DEFAULT
    FPS: 29.97
    Frames: 345089
    Duration (H:M:S): 2:16:17.811
    Mode: 2-Pass
    KBPS: 4004
Properties > Manual Crop: Top-142 Bottom-140 (Do Not Resize)

Audio Input: FLAC (demuxed by Ripbot264)
    Profile: 5.1 FHG AAC-HE 192 kbps [cbr]
    Frequency: 48000
    Channels: 6
    Duration (H:M:S): 2:16:17.681
    Normalize: Off
    Language English

    Saving as .MKV
    Lock size: [mb]: 4480

Any helped will be HUGELY appreciated. and be kind, iv check tutorials, and googled errors n stuff and nothing has really showed much of the same problems iv had. No point starting on the 100+ HD DVDs And (When i eventually get my bluray drive) Blu-rays.

If you sat through that all, thank you, and if you post below, thank you even more.
