TMPGEnc v2.53 bug with MJPEGs

Hi - just downloaded TMPGEnc v2.53 and it can't read my MJPEGs.

Running v2.01 works fine and displays it alongside the corrupted MJPEGs in v2.53! I've tried loading different MJPEGs on both PIII and Athlon computers (Win98 and XP) using v2.53 - both have bad results. I can only conclude that TMPGEnc v2.53 has a serious bug.

Unless I'm doing something wrong, please can someone help.

Just for info, I've put a sample AVI (MJPEG) for download on a website just in case it works on someones TMPGEnc v2.53. You will need an MJPEG codec to view it and load it into TMPGEnc (like PICVideo2 ). Here's the link;

I am using 2.53 with matrox captured mjpeg files with no problems.

I tried to post a reply earlier but the site crashed while posting. Anyway I downloaded your file and TMPG 2.53 read it and encoded it, but, it was several lines of video taking up 1/8 of the screen at the top - the rest blank. There was some audio also. Lasted about 1 second. Did you try this file yourself? It didn't look right but I could read it.
