Dear All,
I am so sick of having to right click then select 'new' then wait while the
computer loads the list, then choosing 'Folder',
usually from the top of the menu!!
Is there a way to add a 'Create New Folder' button - like there are in many 'File Select' Browsing Windows & 'Save As' menus- to the toolbar in Explorer??
When every other app that MS makes
has a hugely customizable toolbar, I wonder why there is no way to add a new folder button to explrer toolbar! or even adding the new folder option to the first level of right click context menus(not a submenu).
This would be one of my most frequently used commands in Explorer and the
lack of a short-cut is literally driving me nuts!!
Can I set a shortcut/macro to do this?
Making new folders by a keyboard shortcut is so nice and stops wasting of our time.
Is there a way? Surely I'm not the first one to be annoyed by this??
Or perhaps there is a superior file manager that someone can recommended me?
I'm getting desperate and would appreciate any help.
Thanks in advance

Here is one for you
Make new folder on your desktop !!, then when you want to make one on your hard drive, Pick up the one from your desktop, hold the control key down and drop it onto your hard drive
Using the control key will "Copy" instead of move.
Or take a look here http://www.winability.com/stepup/
