    I can't decide which one of these encodes looks more pleasing to the eyes. I personally think the second one looks better, but others prefer the first. Which one would you prefer to watch?

    I'm still very much beginner in all this, but personally I prefer the second link. I rescaled the videos to have a similar resolution, and the second one had much sharper lines and stronger colour.
